Troy is the Managing Director of the Strategic Advisory area of JLL's Hotels & Hospitality Group throughout Asia Pacific.


After spending four years in our Singapore office.  Troy relocated to Sydney and since then, he has carried out numerous valuation, consultancy and feasibility study reports for hotels and resorts located in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Canberra, Brisbane, Cairns, Tasmania, the Northern Territory, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. 

During his time in Asia, Troy carried out assignments in 28 markets across 14 countries throughout the region including Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, China, the Maldives, Vietnam, Cambodia and French Polynesia.  Major hotels valued include those of Mandarin Oriental chain and the Peninsula, the Banyan Tree and Amanresorts portfolios.  Major consultancy assignments included market and feasibility studies for hotels in the emerging markets of China, India and for resorts in destinations such as Bali, Phuket and Cebu.  He has conducted valuation/consultancy work for private hospitals and health care facilities located across both Indonesia and Australia.

Major hotels valued include the Hamilton Island, Sydney and Melbourne Marriotts, the Accor/TAHL and Travelodge portfolios, suburban and regional pubs as well as numerous smaller properties.  In 1998, he transferred to the firm's Singapore office, assuming responsibility for the valuation and advisory team in Asia and specialising in valuation and consultancy assignments for hotels, serviced apartments, resort properties and golf courses
