Tony Pratt is the National Director of JLL’s Plant and Machinery Valuations team and is based in Wellington.

​​Tony manages a number of JLL's multinational and Government clients. He has more than 30 years' experience and is a registered plant and machinery valuer.

He joined JLL in September 2010 after six years with DTZ. Prior to this Tony spent 17 years with private valuation practice Rolle (which later became Knight Frank) where he was also a shareholder.

Tony's work often takes him overseas to advise clients in Australia, South America, Fiji, the USA and Asia. 

Some of the major industries Tony has worked with over the years include dairy; meat and food processing; contracting; property depreciation; tourism; engineering and infrastructure.

Tony's breadth of experience includes valuations for the purposes of insurance, financial reporting, insolvency, dispute resolution and litigation. 

He advises major government departments on depreciation, investigation and a range of valuation methodologies and assets.

Major corporates also call on him to review insurance and valuation advice provided by third parties.

Clients Tony has worked with include Fonterra, Air New Zealand, Z Energy, ANZCO, Tegel, Sealord, Fletcher Building, Ports of Melbourne and the Australian Defence Force.
