Jason Armstrong is a Sales and Leasing Broker in the Metro team, specialising in the West Auckland commercial property market.

​​Jason joined JLL in 2016 after 11 years as a property trader and investor in the residential market.

Working with a team of five others, Jason bought, renovated and sold residential property.

This has given him a wealth of experience in joint partner ventures, capital raising, project management and property transactions.

He has an architectural background, specialising in retail shopfitting for high end brands as well as bars and restaurants.

He has also worked for Goldman Sachs in the UK as part of the trader presentation team.

Now more than ever, Jason sees the opportunity for new investors to get involved in the commercial property sector.

"In a rapidly moving marketplace, understanding the dynamics and trends at play that determine true value or MRSV (maximum realisable sales value) is more important than ever before. It is both an art and a science requiring access to up-to-the-minute statistical information and an innate sense of judgement to deliver timely and accurate client advice," he says.

"This is what I strive to achieve with every client regardless of how large or small their property, from the initial sale value appraisal, to the marketing strategy through to successful sale negotiation."

Jason works closely with property owners and occupants and has intimate knowledge across Avondale, Rosebank, New Lynn and Henderson.
