Current responsibilities
Ross’ asset management role involves overseeing the performance of hotel operators’ on behalf of the property owners to maximise profitability and to provide strategic guidance to owners in relation to their hotel assets.
A selection of the properties he has recently been involved in are; Metro Hotel Sydney Central ($40million); Fairmont Blue Mountains Resort and InterContinental Hotel Wellington.

Previous experience
Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle’s Hotels & Hospitality Group in 2008, Ross spent four years with Carlson Hotels Worldwide - Asia Pacific his last role being Director of Operations and Development - Pacific This role-encompassed responsibility for all operational aspects of the hotel portfolio in the Pacific, to ensure the hotels drive for results and to grow the owner relationships.  The region extends from Australia to Tahiti. The development responsibilities were to grow the brand in the Pacific theatre.
Prior to Carlson Hotels, Ross spent over 15 years managing Hotels all around Australia and Vietnam. In this position he was responsible for the improvement of operational and financial performances, rebranding exercises, and numerous refurbishments.

Ross worked for Southern Pacific Hotels (SPHC) and the InterContinental Hotel Group for 18 years where he held General Management positions in Alice Springs, Darwin, Sydney and Ho Chi Minh City.
