JLL today announces leadership changes to its Indonesia business.  James Allan, currently JLL's Head of Markets Shanghai, will step up to the Country Head role, effective 1 May 2018.

Mr Allan has over 15 years' experience in the real estate sector in China and the United Kingdom. Since joining JLL in 2008, he has held a range of increasingly senior roles in the China business, advising multinational tenants and landlords in Shanghai and Greater China. Mr Allan succeeds Todd Lauchlan who, after eight years as Country Head, has been appointed to lead JLL's New Zealand business.

"Indonesia continues to be one of our key growth markets in South East Asia.  We are fortunate to have a great depth of leadership talent and we are excited to have someone of James' calibre and experience to drive the next generation of our growth strategy in this dynamic and fast-growing market," says Chris Fossick, Managing Director, Singapore and South East Asia, JLL.

"JLL has experienced great success in Indonesia under Todd's leadership over the past eight years, and we would like to thank him for his unwavering focus on our clients and our people. Over the years we have steadily built our presence and talent pool, and today we are proud to be a leading real estate player that has earned the trust of many Indonesian and multinational clients," continues Mr Fossick.

"I'm very much looking forward to working with Chris and our Indonesia management team to achieve our next generation growth ambitions, building on JLL's already leading position and delivering the highest standards of service for our clients," says Mr Allan. "It's certainly an exciting time to be joining the Indonesia business with so much growth and opportunity in the country's real estate sector."
