Jones Lang LaSalle strengthens Corporate Finance offering with three senior hires across Asia Pacific

Latest appointments will enhance the firm’s equity raising, investment and financial structuring expertise on offer to pan-Asian investors


SINGAPORE, 28 August, 2013 — Jones Lang LaSalle’s Corporate Finance team has strengthened its offering in Asia Pacific with three senior appointments across the region.  Bastian Van Halder, Ryan Levine and Andrew Wilson join the firm’s team of 12 strong corporate finance professionals who are responsible for providing capital raising and joint venture structuring solutions for major investors around the region.
Ryan Levine joins the Asia Pacific team as a Director and brings over six years of real estate investment banking experience gained at BNP Paribas Hong Kong, Lehman Brothers and, most recently, Barclays Bank. Based in Hong Kong, and fluent in Mandarin, Japanese and English, Ryan will focus on providing a range of capital raising, M&A and joint venture advisory services to the firm’s clients across Greater China.
Bastian Van Halder has been appointed as an Associate Director, based at Jones Lang LaSalle’s Asia Pacific Headquarters in Singapore. Joining the firm from Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC) Corporate Finance in London, Bastian will employ his diverse experience in managing real estate funds, equity raising, debt origination, Club & JV structuring to complement the team’s existing expertise.
Joining as an Analyst in Jones Lang LaSalle’s Sydney office, Andrew Wilson, will work closely with the regional team to offer cutting edge industry analysis and consultancy. With over six years’ of experience in Australia and the UK, Andrew brings a strong track record in real estate corporate finance and investment banking, having most recently worked for JP Morgan and ING Real Estate Capital Advisers.
The three hires come as Jones Lang LaSalle announced that Seijan An, a specialist in the firm’s Korean Capital Markets team, has moved internally to focus solely on Corporate Finance in Korea. In his new role, Seijan will leverage his seven years’ experience in the market, to further strengthen the firm’s offering to Korean investors.
