Swissôtel Merchant Court Sold

Swissôtel Merchant Court, Singapore
On behalf of our client LaSalle Asia Opportunity II SARL  we sold the riverfront 476-room Hotel located in the bustling Clarke Quay district to TA Enterprise Bhd, a Malaysian based listed company. The sale price was around circa US$188m representing approximately US$396,000 per key.
Despite a challenging global economic climate, this marks one of the largest hotel transactions in Asia Pacific in 2009. It is also a transaction which Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels has twice successfully represented the seller, the first being in 2006.
