Raising equity for Capland Centre

Capland Centre, developed by Capland RE Development Group, is a mixed-use development with a residential tower, office tower and retail podium. The developer wanted to sell a part of their equity holdings in the project company holding the property,therefore it required the most qualified firm to facilitate the proceedings. Banking on our knowledge and expertise, the client were confident with the job in our hands.

Acting as the property’s sole investment advisor, we were tasked to devise a sale strategy and market the project to potential investors. A comprehensive marketing campaign was organised across Greater China and Asia Pacific to promote the asset. Jones Lang LaSalle also managed all aspect of Legal  services and documents for Capland Centre.

In June 2007, an amount of RMB 200 million was raised from Carlyle Group for an equity participation in the CJV holding Capland Centre.
