Oracle, one of the largest software companies in the world, wanted to grow its market revenue in India by targeting local clients and the government. In line with this goal, Oracle looked to expand its direct presence in the country by putting up a new sales office in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
With Oracle’s corporate real estate team primarily concentrating on its large campus developments, the company wanted to completely outsource the delivery of this project. Oracle turned to us for our knowledge on local markets, familiarity with vendor bases and proven track record on similar projects.
Committed to deliver real value for Oracle, Jones Lang LaSalle Meghraj’s Projects and Development Services team suggested an innovative ‘Warranted Price’ project management model for the execution of this development. Under this model, we undertook key initiatives that positively impacted our client such as relief from day-to-day management, convenience through a single point of contact, adoption of a ‘no-risk’ position for Oracle, commercial transparency and effective budget management.
This management model allowed Oracle to realise time savings of around 720 hours for three months, and to complete the project at 15% less cost than the proposed budget. Oracle proved its satisfaction with our services by expanding our partnership and commissioning additional projects under the Warranted Price model.
